İzzet C. Göknar received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, E. Lansing, Michigan, U.S.A. in electrical engineering in 1969. Since then, he has been offering courses on a regular basis at Istanbul Technical University, BoğaziçiUniversity, Doğuş University, on and off at other universities in Turkey and at Michigan State University-East Lansing, Michigan, University of California at Berkeley, University of Waterloo and University of Illinois as visiting professor.
