Andrés Pinar is a physicist specializing in surface science and nanotechnology. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2010-2018), during which he participated in the Erasmus Program at Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2016. He completed a Master's in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2019. In 2024, he obtained his Ph.D. in Physics of Surfaces and Interfaces from Charles University of Prague, focusing on spin probing magnetism in molecular systems using nickelocene-functionalized scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) tips.
