Bio:

Qihua Xiong is a professor of Physics at Tsinghua University. He received his bachelor degree from Wuhan University in 1997 and Ph.D. degree from The Pennsylvania State University in 2006.
He obtained his postdoctoral research training at Harvard University between 2006-2009. He joined Nanyang Technological University as a Nanyang Assistant Professor in 2009 and was promoted to Nanyang Associate Professor in 2014. He was then promoted to full Professor in 2016. He is a NRF Fellow awarded in 2009 and NRF Investigator awarded in 2014 by Singapore National Research Foundation.
He recently relocated to Beijing and joined the department of Physics at Tsinghua University full time.
