I am interested in ecology and conservation genetics of mammals. In recent years, my attention has mainly focused on Snub-nosed monkey conservation, ecology and genetic research. I like to address the ecology and conservation question with genetic method. Kinship and social system are important factors for us to understand the population stability and relative behavior ecology issues of Snub-nosed monkey, and now I use the genetic method to solve the in ecological issues of wild primates or other large animals.
I am also interested in the application of genetic techniques to the study of ecology of ungulate, such as argali, blue sheep, takin and antelopes in northwest of China.
