Bio:

Upon his retirement in 2020, Stanton L. Jones was designated as Professor of Psychology and Core Studies Emeritus and Provost Emeritus. In that role, he continues his contributions as a researcher and scholar. From 1996 to 2016, he served as Provost of Wheaton College. The Provost is the Chief Academic Officer responsible for all on-campus and off-campus academic programs of the College.

As Provost of Wheaton College, he was the Chief Academic Officer of the College, responsible to the President (A. Duane Litfin 2996-2010; Philip G. Ryken 2010-2016) for all aspects of the academic program and budget, including faculty recruitment and development, curriculum, institutional research, academic services such as library, registrar, admissions and other support services, all academic institutes and centers of the institution such as the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center for Evangelism, and for all off-campus academic operations of the College.
