Richard Hayes Ogles received his BS at the University of Utah (1952), his MS at Brigham Young University (1955), and his PhD from Washington State University (1961). He taught sociology at Marietta College, Washington State University, University of Alberta, University of Tulsa, and the University of Colorado at Denver, where he retired in 1993.
