Dr. Reyes is an Assistant Professor in the department of Language, Reading and Culture, and affiliate faculty at the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching at the University of Arizona. Her research focuses on early literacy, bilingualism and biliteracy development, language socialization, and child development. She is the Principal Investigator of a longitudinal research study that focuses on emergent literacy and literacy practices in immigrant families in the U.S. Southwest.
