Arlie Todd, who died in 1989, was Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin and founding member of the America Association of Veterinary Parasitologists (AAVP).
Born in Michigan, he completed a B.A. in 1937, an M.S. in 1938, and his PhD in 1942. After holding faculty positions at Louisiana State University (1942-1945), the University of Tennessee (1945-1947) and the University of Kentucky (1947-1951), he joined the University of Wisconsin in 1951 where he remained for 30 years before retiring in 1981.
