Zhixiong Gong received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in acoustics from HUST, China in 2013 and 2018. He joined the Physical acoustics group led by Prof. Philip L. Marston as a visiting scholar from December 2016 to April 2018. He is currently working as a postdoc with Prof. Michael Baudoin at CNRS UMR8520 IEMN in France. His research interests lie in physical acoustics, ultrasound, and underwater acoustics. He is an Associate Member of the ASA and a member of the IEEE UFFC.
