Leopold Mannes, Pianist, Dies

VINEYARD HAVEN, Mass., Aug. 11—Leopold Mannes, pianist, president of the Mannes College of Music and co‐inventor of the Kodachrome color process, died of a cerebral hemorrhage this morning in Martha's Vineyard Hospital. He was 64 years old.
Mr. Mannes, who was spending the summer at his home in Menemsha, entered the hospital last night.
There will be no funeral services, and he will be buried in the Chilmark cemetery, in the family plot of his widow, the former Evelyn Sabin.
