For the time being I am going to leave this; it is too tiring to verify all the blah blah that is being spread around by Wikipedia and copied over here. In this case it appears to me that Knutzen never studied under Christian Wolff, but under Abraham Wolff instead. His philosophy teacher was Franz Albert Schultz, who in turn was Christian Wolff's student (comment by jandh)
