Prof. Dr. Sebastian TB Going Wine
The Professorship for Solid-State Physics, owner Prof. Dr. Sebastian TB Goennenwein, deals with the production as well as the investigation of multifunctional magnetic heterostructures and structural elements. The professorship is closely linked to the Center for Transport and Devices of Emergent Materials (CTD) .

IMPORTANT THEMATIC FOCUS OF OUR RESEARCH WORK
We are concerned with investigations on spin-dependent transport (anisotropic magnetoresistance, anomalous Hall effect) as well as with pure spin currents (spin-Hall magnetoresistance, spin-seebeck effect) in solids. These experiments are particularly interesting in magnetic systems with non-trivial spin texture, as they are caused, for example, by mutually tilted magnetic sublattices, magnetic frustration effects, or topological magnetic structures (scyrmions).
