Bio:

Normand Laurendeau passed away on May 20, 2012. Born, Aug. 16, 1944. Norm graduated from Lewiston High School (1962), Notre Dame University (BSE 1966); Princeton University (MA, 1968), and the University of California, Berkeley (Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering 1972). In 1972, he joined the faculty of Purdue University, Indiana, rising through the ranks to Professor of Mechanical Engineering in 1982, and retiring in 2007, as the Ralph and Bettye Bailey Professor Emeritus of Combustion.
