"Deepan Kishore Kumar"Bio:
I am a Ph.D. student at Caltech working with Professor Nai-Chang Yeh, on Graphene devices such as photodetector, solar cells, LED and Graphene nanostripes as supercapacitor electrode material.
Specifically, I am designing photovoltaic systems that surpass the 33.5% Shockley-Quiesser Limit on conventional single junction solar cells and designing new high speed photodetectors based on Graphene's exceptional electronic properties.
Previously, I have worked on CMOS electrochemical sensors for Glucose, Lactate and other metabolic biomarkers for wearable sensing and implantable long term continuous monitoring and nanoscale field emission devices in the Nanofabrication Lab of Professor Axel Scherer.
